Charlie Williamson took 1st place
honors with a 14.09lb stringer including the big trout of
the day at 6.44lbs.
The team of Chris Ramsey/Brett Sweeny
finished 2nd with an official weight of 13.68lbs. After
reweighing on another scale, the stringer checked in at
an unofficial weight of 14.62lbs for the heaviest weight
of the day. Due to the fact that no other team reweighed
on scale #2, the original weight of 13.68lb stands. Coastal
Bend Weigh team acknowledged that there was a temporary
electrical problem during the weigh in process for
only Ramsey/Sweeny & one other team that gave them an
official lower weight. All other team weights were correct.
Tournament directors agreed that
only allowing the weights from the scale everyone used should
be allowed.
